User Experience Honeycomb

Peter Morville published his User Experience Honeycomb — sweet (sorry couldn’t resist). It works really well for trying to explain that there’s more than usability to the user experience (although I realize enabling even a concern for that isn’t a trivial matter). He also points out that his conceptualization aids making your site improvement strategy modular by targeting particular facets.

Update: when I went to view this post on my site, the random quote that came up was one of my faves and most appropriate. “If ease of use was the only valid criterion, people would stick to tricycles and never try bicycles.” - D. Engelbart
