Unsaved Input
After an interesting discussion on unsaved input when switching views/pages, etc. I noticed Apple’s discussion board preferences panel offers an example of input with no save button.
Julie Stanford warns that users require the assurance of a save button in some contexts (but strangely not in others). Jef Raskin seems to indicate that entering should always save which of course led to an undo/draft discussion.
