Geography & Earthquakes

Browsing through the list of resources for an online course I designed, I came across the NEIC: Near Real Time Earthquake List. Good to have just in case I feel the need to be aware of any seismic activity somewhere in the world.

Actually, it is a good way to expand your knowledge of geography since they indicate the region on a map. The naming scheme they use is the Flinn-Engdahl (F-E) seismic and geographical regionalization scheme. Might come in handy some day if I need a naming scheme that isn’t solely based on political boundaries.
