U.S. Senators Joseph Lieberman and Claire McCaskill discuss recovery.gov with Robert L. Nabors, Deputy Director, Office of Management and Budget (03/05/2009 meeting of the Senate Committee for Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs). Sen. McCaskill urges Nabors and the committee (?) to consider making recovery.gov “non-political.” She offers some suggestions for making the site less like whitehouse.gov. It’s interesting to consider the political process of making a governmental site “non-political.”
