Matt Jones gives us a wonderful gift of this 86 page, full color look at the BBCi team's homepage redesign process.
I think the "voicemap" is particularly interesting where they've tried to suss out their position from lowbrow to highbrow and fun/personality to functional. They've devised some in-depth personas complete with paste-up collages of "mood boards." The iterations of each modual for the grid system is interesting as well -- oh it's all excellent. Just go get it.
